I Am Startle

‘I Am Startle’ (2021) tells the story of an unexpected plunge from the heights of the starry night sky to the overwhelming depths of the vibrant, yet sometimes threatening ocean.  Startle explains calming from the initial shock and stress, as well as experiencing a whole range of feelings arising from further adventures with new friends.  Startle courageously says “hello” and “goodbye’ to groups of friends, who explore some sea life together and have some fun at the beach.   The journey forms and defines who Startle is and who Startle becomes.  Startle continues to long to be back home, but through learning to trust more, finds hope and contentment, which grows from moment to moment. © Sarah Jo McClellan, 2021 (available in ebook and paperback format)
